Committee for the Promotion and Defence of Life “Samuel Ruiz García”

The Committee for the Promotion and Defence of Life “Samuel Ruiz García” is one of the 11 committees that make up the Parish Council of Chicomuselo.

It is dedicated to the promotion and defence of human rights, focusing on the defence of land and territory, the rights of families, women, children and adolescents. It works to strengthen catechists and community promoters, offering them education and training in human rights. It also has an area of legal advice and defence. It carries out its work in the Sierra de Chiapas border region.
